re-scheduled
The event organisers, Pure Rush Promotions, have
this afternoon announced that, regrettably, the European 5 Man Paintball
Championships is to be re-scheduled to Spring 2008.
A full press release, explaining the reasons for this difficult
decision, is below.
Spectators who purchased tickets to attend the event will be contacted
and fully refunded, and all paintball teams have been informed.

'Euro 5 Man' re-scheduled to Spring 2008
The event organisers, Pure Rush Promotions, in liaison with Extreme
Mayhem, last week made the difficult decision to delay the European 5
Man Paintball Championships until 2008.
After months of preparation and hard work, planning, promoting and
marketing the event, this was a painful conclusion brought about by, in
the end, the harsh reality that only 20 UK teams were in a position to
commit. While the response from Europe was notably stronger than last
year, teams essentially fund Paintball Tournaments, and had the event
proceeded with less than 40 teams, not only would it have undermined
credibility in the Euro 5 Man competition, it would have resulted in a
substantial financial loss...

Euro 5 Man Prize Fund now exceeds EUR 17,000!
Support for this year's Euro 5 Man tournament has exceeded all
expectations, and the prize fund now exceeds a staggering EUR 17,000.00
with huge thanks to all of event sponsors, including Paramina who have
donated a brand new, state-of-the-art ACT100 air compressor worth EUR
4,500!
The team line-up gets more exciting by the day, with some of the very
best teams in Europe confirmed, including Joy Division (Sweden), Nexus
(UK), Solid (Norway), Shockwave (UK), Ugly Ducklings (Denmark) , Fat
Lady Charms (Sweden), Method (UK), Poison Ivy (Norway), DUB (Holland)
and Gung Ho (Germany)...

Event organiser, Pure Rush Paintball, in association with Extreme Mayhem and One4one TV, is pleased to announce that the European 5 Man Paintball Championships, being held at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford, Kent, on the 10th and 11th of November 2007, is assured of being the most exciting event to date with paintball teams now booking in from all over Europe.
This year and for the first time, the organisers are welcoming spectators of all ages to attend the championships.

Extreme Entertainment is working in partnership with
Sekwa7prod, broadcasting as One4One TV, to add new paintball content to
its catalogue for 2008.
Extreme Entertainment, part of the SMT Group, will be adding paintball
content to its catalogue for 2008 in a working partnership with the
French production company Sekwa7prod, now the world's leading producer
of paintball footage.
